Frequently Asked Questions
- Who can join the class?
Micasso Baby club music classes are designed for babies up until 4 years old, together with their carer.
- One adult per child
The presence and the participation of an adult alongside babies and toddlers is an important part of our program. It is a unique experience to be shared with your little ones and studies have indeed proven it enhances cognitive, emotional and social development.
- Language of the class
All songs at Micasso Baby Club music classes are in English. Written by English-speaking natives, they are the perfect introduction to this new language for your baby.
If you don’t speak English yourself you may learn and/or practice hand-in-hand with your baby. Exposing your child at such an early age to a new language will have long term benefits, including enhancing pronunciation, understanding and learning of other languages.
If you are an English speaker yourself, it is a perfect opportunity for you to learn music too while sharing valuable time with your baby. You will also meet like-minded mums & dads with babies that are within the same age group.
- Which class should I choose for my baby?
The programme of every specific age group class has been specifically developed to meet your baby’s emotional and developmental needs. The progressive curriculum will evolve from one class to another, but your child won’t need to have attended the previous level to fully enjoy the class that corresponds to his age group. No previous musical knowledge is required and Micasso Baby Club’s music classes are the perfect introduction to music.
Easily book the class that corresponds to your baby’s age group and the teacher will happily advise you in person when your baby will move onto the next level.
For any questions regarding the age group, please do not hesitate to contact us.
- Length and size of the class
Our classes are 30 minutes long as it has been proven that it is the perfect length to maximise babies’ and toddlers’ concentration.
The maximum capacity of our classes is 12 babies, alongside their carers. We want to keep the size intimate in order to give your child all the attention needed.
To run a class, we will however need a minimum of five attendees. In the unlikely event that we are unable to run an advertised class, we will try to find you an alternative date or a different venue.
